My stay at Forbes Hotel was quite the mixed bag. While the location was great and the staff were super friendly, my first room left a lot to be desired. Eventually, I got a better room, but it didn't quite match the photos online. Overall, it offered decent value for what I paid, just with some hiccups.

I had a mixed experience at Forbes Hotel in Taichung. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas and food streets, plus the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, the room I initially received was quite disappointing, with issues like a smokey smell and poor lighting. Despite these challenges, my stay turned around when I got a room upgrade, which was much better and offered great comfort.
